about me |
I'm a bilingual multimedia journalist. As a full-time, I work for a health system covering the healthcare industry. As a freelancer, I write a weekly column for the Capital Gazette on the Hispanic/Latino local community, focusing primarily on highlighting unsung heroes that do work for the greater good of others. And as an entrepreneur, I'm out and about combining my passion for writing and photography.
Before I started community storytelling, I worked on covering global cities for the Bloomberg Philanthropies' Government Innovation team in Washington D.C. Prior to this adventure, I lived in London for three years and worked as an editor for NBC's Breaking News, contributed as an editorial assistant for the The Times, and vlogged for London Live. You can see one of our top vlogs here. I've also lived in Barcelona and other metropolises, resulting in the mastery of four different languages and appreciation of diverse cultures. In my spare time, I take on creative projects to capture the stories I often am unable to tell with words. |
